How to use eJDS
Using eJDS is simple! Make sure you already registered to the service and that you have a valid eJDS account.
To access the ejournals in the fields of Physics and Mathematics, you can use the eJDSweb interface, or you can interact with the system through Web and email.
• eJDSweb: Web-to-email gateway
• Connect your browser to http://www.ejds.org/ejdsweb and type your registered eJDS e-mail address.
• Once you entered in the eJDS system, you will be informed about the Publishers you can download articles from. On the left you will see the list of the Publishers and, clicking on the red links, you will be able to view the titles available for each publisher. On the right you will see the links to the search facilities of each Publisher, available through eJDS.
• Select, for example, APS as Publisher, and check which journals are available for you. The journals available depend on which country you come from, as agreed by the Publishers.
• Click, for example, on the eJDSweb: APS link to search articles produced by this Publisher. You need to know the journal in which the article is published, as well as the volume and the page number. If you do not have this information, you can use the Publisher's search facilities. Fill the eJDS search form with details about the article of interest and submit it.
• Wait until you receive an answer from eJDSweb, then continue browsing until you are able to select the PDF or PostScript version of the requested article. Click on the icon to request the article.
• Type the registered e-mail address where the article will be sent. Delivery of the article to your mailbox may require some time. Keep in mind that the requested article can be delivered only to your registered e-mail address.
• You will receive the requested article in your mailbox. There is a limit to the number of articles that can be sent: 3 each day, 12 per month and 100 per year.
